Amrita Arora was born in Chembur, Mumbai, Maharashra-India. Her Mother is Malayali named as Joyce Polycarp and her Father is Punjabi named as Anil Arora. She completed his Intermediate from Swami Vivekananda High School, Chembur-Mumbai. Her sister is Malaika Arora khan wife of Arbaz Khan. Her spouse name is Shakeel Ladak, a Business-man and they have two sons named Azaan Born on 5 Feb, 2010 and Rayaan born on 20 Oct, 2012.

Amrita with Fardeen khan made her Bollywood debut in 2002 in the film Kitne Door Kitne Paas, which was unfortunately not successful at the box office. Awara Pagal Deewana film was her best and successful film in box office. A series of flops followed, among them the controversial Girlfriend (2014), about a lesbian relationship, in which she appeared opposite Isha Koppikar.

With her sister Malaika Arora and her brother-in-law Arbaz khan made a special appearance in “Deewangi Deewangi” song of Farrah Khan’s film, “Om Shanti Om”in 2007. In the same year, she appeared in Speed and Red: The Dark Side, also starring aftab Shivdasani and Celina Jaitlev. Her films in 2009 were Deha and Team the Force. And in the same year she appeared in a supporting role in Kambakht Ishq, Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The upcoming project is “Ek Tho Chance”.
